Dr Lillian Hobbs - "How Astronomy Has Changed"
1 May 2018
Starts: 19:20
Ends: 22:00

This talk takes a look at how Astronomy has changed during the years. The evolution in telescope and computerised mounts. How the introduction and continued development of Digital cameras and CCD has changed the world of astro photography and for those who don’t, or unable to go outside and observe, how the Internet and tablets and apps open up a whole new world for the Astronomer. Is this evolution for the better, come along and decide for yourself if you like the road astronomy is taking.
