Simon Cuthbert is a Lecturer in Earth Sciences at the University of West Scotland in Paisley.

As a geoscientist with over 30 years of academic and industrial experience on our planet Earth he is also well versed in the geology & geoscience developments of moons & planets in our solar system.

For those of you who experienced his talk last year on the geology of Venus you will be looking forward to this stimulating treatise of our Moon.  An appropriate subject considering we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo manned moon landings!

Suitable for all ages and those with a general interest in both geology and astronomy.
