Sun Halo from Conon Bridge

This halo occurs when the sky contains wispy, hazy, thin cirrus clouds. These clouds are cold and contain ice crystals which refract and reflect the sunlight to form the halo and other associated phenomena. The halo is large and always the same size, no matter where it is in the sky.
