SW Quadrant 25/10/04 - Eric Walker

A wonderful view of the rays emanating from Tycho. The terminator has picked out the walled plain Schickard and neighbouring crater Nasmyth, itself bounded by another walled plain, Phocylides. The image was taken on 25 October 2004 afocally through a 114mm reflector with 32mm Plossl eyepiece, then processed using Adobe Photoshop CS. www.astrophotos.plus.com
