Snapped on Christmas Eve 2006 from Conon Bridge at 17:04:44. Magnitude -7, 25 degrees above horizon, Azimuth 292 (WNW) as it passed through the constellation of Hercules. The bright star immediately below the flare's 'centre' is Zeta Herculis and the upper right one is Eta Herculis.
