Six day old Moon 04/04/06
Taken on 4th April 2006, this image shows the six day old Moon as captured through a 6" Skywatcher Dobsonian! Not a traditional scope for astrophotography, but it is still possible to take images of brighter objects, such as the Moon and planets, with this kind of setup. Taken using a Canon EOS10D camera at ASA200, through a Moonfish 30mm 2" eyepiece and 2" extension tube (Moonfish barlow with lens removed). 15 shots at 1/250th sec, stacked in Registax and slightly tweaked in Paintshop Pro JR
