WHEN WE MEET

Astronomy presentation by HAS member during SciFestThe Society normally meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the Smithton Church, Inverness, from 7:00pm (for a 7:15pm start) until 9:30pm. The January Meeting is on the second Tuesday of the month.  Our "YOUNGSTARS" meet prior to the main Meeting, from 6.45pm - 7.15pm.

WHERE WE MEET

We meet at The Smithton Church, Smithton, Inverness. The Church has its own car park. 

Charges
Admission to the Meetings is free to Members - there is a charge of £5.00 for Visitors. However, if you would like to come along and check out if the Society  is "for you" - there is no charge for your first visit.

In September each year, the Society holds its annual Doors Open Day at our JSL Observatory.  Members are on hand to answer any questions on all aspects of Amateur Astronomy.
